Begin where everyone begins — with the question.
Why am I here? Most of us are taught to climb a Pyramid of Desires — basic needs first, then comfort, then, if we are lucky, happiness, success, and fulfillment. The existential question, why we exist at all, is left for last, if it is reached at all.
So we succeed and still feel empty. We acquire and still feel the vacuum.
The Center for Purposehood®Philosophy begins by turning the Pyramid upside down.
What if existential purpose came first — and everything else followed as its byproduct?
And then— the deeper answer
Beneath that human question sits a larger one. If we want to know the existential purpose of a human life, we can start by asking the existential purpose of the system that contains it: humanity, then life, then the universe itself
— 13.8 billion years of evidence pointing in one direction.
The Purposehood of Everything Theory (PoET): Everything in existence has an existential purpose, and that purpose is to evolve and expand exponentially. Purposehood = (Evolve + Expand)ⁿ
Every player in existence is also a system — nested from the smallest vibrating string of energy up through you, humanity, life, the universe, and finally iSH, the grand mystery beyond. Each plays a role in the existential purpose of the system above it. And to break its own balance and leap forward, each system creates an expo-agent: a more capable player.
Life is the universe's expo-agent. Humanity is life's.
And the expo-agent of humanity is you.
This is what makes a human unlike anything else in the known universe: while every other player follows its existential purpose without choice, you are born with directional choice — the freedom to move toward your Purposehood or away from it.
That single capacity is the root from which the entire Method grows.
